Albany area
| March 12: | NMSS Open House: Visit us in our newly improved space & resource center in at 421 New Karner Rd, suite 6, Albany, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Meet the President, Stephanie Mincer, and join us from noon to 1:00 p.m. for a “Lunch & Learn: MS Resources A to Z” in collaboration with the Capital District Center for Independence. Dr. Keith Edwards, Empire Neurology, presents “Newly Diagnosed & MS”, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., a client educational program. |

Buffalo area
| March 12: | Clients of the NMSS Upstate NY Chapter play the Wii Fit and Wii Sports programs, using the Wii Fit balance board to help with coordination and balance. It's at the chapter office, 4245 Union Road, Suite 108 in Cheektowaga, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. |
| March 12 & 16: | The Peace Bridge, in the greater Buffalo area, will be lit orange in recognition of MS Awareness Week. A special thanks to Lynn Waugaman for all her hard work in making this possible! |
| March 14: | Stop by the NMSS Upstate NY Chapter’s table at the Buffalo Walden Galleria Mall to “Try on MS”. We will suit you up so that you can experience first-hand what it’s like to live with multiple sclerosis. |

Rochester area
| March 12-18: | Visit any Supercuts store from Rochester to East Syracuse during MS Awareness Week and get a pinup sneaker for a $1 donation to the National MS Society. Anyone who donates $5 or more gets $1 off a haircut, $5 off a color service, or 10% off a product. Also, on one day during the week, Supercuts is asking all employees (about 140) to wear orange Walk MS shirts to support the cause. |
| March 12-18: | Visit any Walgreens store in the Rochester area during MS Awareness Week and get a pinup sneaker for a $1 donation to the National MS Society. One of the days during the week, Walgreens is asking employees at all 13 stores to wear orange in support of MS Awareness. During the week, Walgreens is also offering 15% off any purchase at the photo department. |
| March 13: | Shari Mazzella, Director of Programs and Services will appear on the morning news show on Rochester's CW at 7:15 a.m. |
| March 14: | SportsNet Adaptive Sports Expo will allow guests to explore a variety of programs including wheelchair basketball, power soccer, adaptive cycling, sled hockey, outrigger canoeing, track and field, adaptive golf, wheelchair fencing, and sailing. It is a resource for physical therapists, rehab specialists, recreational therapists, service coordinators, occupational therapists, individuals, and families. The Expo is from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Al Sigl Gym, Door #1, 1000 Elmwood Avenue in Rochester. |

| March 17-18: | Sears at the Mall at Greece Ridge Center will have a table where they will hand out MS information and ask for donations to the cause. Make a $5 donation and you will be entered into a raffle for a $200 Sears gift card. |
Syracuse area
| March 12: | Nikki Bomasuto, Campaign Manager for the NMSS Upstate NY Chapter, will appear on Bridge Street, a morning TV talk show on NewsChannel 9 (WSYR), along a Walk MS team captain, April Greco (Team April’s Fools). Greco will be making a lasagna dinner on March 24th, to promote her Walk MS fundraiser. Click here for details.
